How to Create Rose Water

Material:

  • Organic Rose (6-7 Stems)
  • distilled water
  • Sprinkler bottle

Instruction

  • Remove the petals from the rose and collect them in a container. Then, clean the petals with warm water to remove any residues.
  • Add the cleaned petals to a large cooking pot and add distilled water, just enough to cover the petals. Remember not to add too much water as it can dilute rose water.
  • Boil the water at low to medium heat, and cover it with a lid.
  • Blend the mixture for 25–30 minutes or until the petals have lost their color and turn to light pink.
  • After the rose water is ready, mix the mixture and separate the petals with water.
  • Once it cools down, pour the rose water into a glass jar and store it in a cool and dry place.
  • If you want to use your rose water as a toner, you can put the mixture in a spray bottle for an easy and simple application.
