I’m kind of skeptical always of straightening brushes cause I just end up feeling like my hair looks puffy and poofy at the end.
But trying Revlon, which is Allure’s Best in Beauty this year 2020, and it has thousands of really really good reviews on Amazon.
The instructions are pretty simple. It basically just says towel dry your hair, plug the appliance in, separate hair into manageable pieces. For smooth blowouts, you can round brush it one way, for voluminous you can do another.
Now on this volumizing brush, there’s an off, cool, low, and high fan speed and temperature.
There are two kinds of bristles on the brush, One just like a regular brush bristle, and then the second like the round brush bristles that are intermixed in between all the venting system.
It does say that you can hold it at the roots of your hair for two to three seconds if you want extra volume in the roots.
It is a little tiny bit hot on the neck, just a little bit as going right next to the scalp.
Usually, you’re holding a round brush in one hand and then the blow dryer in the other, and that makes it really difficult to get your hair the exact way you want it. So I do like that this brush
kinda frees up your other hand which makes it really easy to dry your hairs.
The bristles in the brush really grip the hair, and I feel like, not pulling, it de-tangles but it grips it, too. So it allows you to freely using one hand, and especially when you’re drying in the back of your head.
Straightening Curly hairs is difficult to get with a brush through but using Revlon you can use the brush curly hairs easily without causing tangles, and this not only ran through Curly hair pretty easily but also gave it a nice straightened feel and look and smoothed even down into the roots of hairs.
It took a little longer time to blow dry your hair, that’s because you also styling your hair at the same time.
